Step by step buying guide

Step 1

Do you want a curtain or blind?

Clearly this is largely a personal decision but practical factors also come into play, such as:

• The size and layout of the room
• The space you have available around the window or bay
• Your budget (a blind will always work out cheaper than a curtain as less fabric is used)

If you require, we can advise you on this and many other issues, as part of your free consultation, or at an earlier stage over the phone

Step 2

Choose your fabric

At Moghul Interiors you won’t be wasting your precious time queuing up in a shop to speak to an advisor.

We offer a no obligation home consultation service throughout the UK (subject to proximity of your nearest consultant), and will arrange for one of our consultants to visit you at home where you can look at our fabrics in the environment in which they are intended, and offer them up to your chosen colour scheme

During the consultation we can advise on colour schemes, fabric selection and will take all necessary measurements, so that we can give you a quote for your chosen fabrics

If you require more specialist interior design advice, we can put you in touch with one of our interior design consultants

Tailor your curtains or blinds

Our ethos is simple – to produce a product that is totally tailored to your requirements. The following options give you an opportunity to create a very special, bespoke product, and we are on hand to offer you advice every step of the way:

For curtains:

• choose from one of our range of headings or pelmets
• choose from our light, medium or heavy weight interlining, and from our range of 100% cotton linings and blackout linings
• add an individual touch, with a piping for your pelmet, or a border for your curtain
• browse our catalogue of extensive curtain and blind accessories , from our beautiful range of wood and metal poles and finials, and bespoke bay window silent gliss poles and tracks, to our extensive range of tie backs and hold backs

For blinds:

• Choose from our range of traditional or modern blind mechanisms. Whilst this is largely an aesthetic issue, practical considerations come into play, and we can advise you which mechanism would work best in the circumstances
• Add an individual touch with a border of your choice

Step 3

The Quotation

We will provide a no obligation, free quotation. We are happy to quote for a number of different options, if you are struggling between different fabrics, or accessories

Step 4

Submission of Order

We require a 50% deposit on submission of your order.

Step 5

Delivery and installation

At Moghul we have a 4 to 5 week turnaround from submission of order to completion of your product. Once we have submitted your order, we will be in contact to arrange a date for delivery, or for one of our team to fit your curtains, poles, tracks and/or blinds
